How do I make a reservation for one of your fabulous vacation rentals?

Oh, it's sooooo easy!  You can either make a booking directly on this website by using the "check availability box" to the left. Or you can call our office at 760-772-3880 and a receptionist will be glad to help you.

Do you offer travel insurance?

Yes, we have partnered with CSA Travel Insurance which can be conveniently added to any of your reservations.

What if I have to cancel?

We understand due to unforeseen circumstances, sometimes vacation plans must be canceled.  Please contact us as soon as possible. Depending upon how close you are to your arrival date will determine what penalties are associated with terminating your reservation. In most cases, you can receive a 50% refund on your deposit as long as you cancel within 90 days of arrival.  After 45 days prior to arrival, there are no refunds. We offer travel insurance for both the damage deposit and the trip itself so you can book with confidence!

How do you handle the security deposit?

You may purchase a damage deposit waiver during the reservation process or pay a damage deposit (amounts may vary).  After departure, we will inspect the home you have rented.  As long as the property is left in the same condition as when it was received, you should receive your deposit back in full.  If there are damages noted, we will debit your deposit appropriately.  Please allow 21 days for deposit to be returned.
 

Do you own these homes?

No, we are the property managers of these homes and we act as your host and the liaison between you and the property owner.  Each of these homes are individually owned by regular people just like you!  These are often 2nd homes and the property owners enjoy spending time in them whenever they can, just like you!  When you stay in their property, it's important you remember that it's someone's personal home they have worked hard for and to take care of it and respect it just like it was your own.

Is there ever a time when the home wouldn't be available after I book it? 

It's rare, but it's possible!  Since these homes are individually owned, there are times when things happen and there are circumstances beyond our control such as a death, a disaster, or a situation where the owner take the home out of our portfolio of management.  This is the small risk of renting a private home.  When these rare situations happen, we will do everything we can to relocate you to a comparable place or refund your money.  Typically, we know well in advance if we need to do this and we will make every effort to accommodate you so your trip is not interrupted.
 

What if I cause accidental damage to the property?

Stuff happens!  The best thing to do is fess up right away so we can assess the damage and see what we can do to help.  Most of the time, it's probably not as bad as you think and letting us know as soon as it happens may prevent further damage or being charged for something that you   may not have caused at all.

I'm not happy with the home. How can you help me?

We definitely want you to be happy in the home you have reserved and if the issue is something that we can resolve, such as cleanliness, a  needed repair, etc....then we will do whatever we can to remedy the situation as quickly as possible so you can go back to enjoying yourself.   Whatever the case, please make sure to contact us immediately if an issue arises. 
 

Can I bring my pooch with me?

Can't bear to holiday without your furry friend?  We understand and we have a lot of pooch friendly properties to choose from!  When browsing, just click the "pet friendly" filter to see which vacation rentals will let you bring your four-legged friend on vacay.  Keep in mind, we typically limit pets to (1) per property...dogs only....under 15 lbs...and breeds considered "dangerous" are not allowed, such as pit bulls, dobermans, etc.  If in doubt, please call.  (of course, service animals with property ID are allowed in all properties). An additional deposit will be required.

What if I have a medical emergency during my stay?

We hope you are as healthy as a horse when you're visiting us but if you need immediate assistance for medical, police or fire...CALL 9.1.1. from any phone and give them the address and an emergency professional will respond asap. 


Do I need to "check-in" anywhere before going to the property?

Prior to your arrival you will receive an email with specific instructions on how you will gain entry to your vacation rental.  In most cases, you will be able to check in any-time after "check-in time" and late arrivals are not an issue.  We will make sure you can gain access 24/7.
